Prefix is an up and coming local coffee shop and roaster based in Kansas City, Missouri. We offer specialty coffee roasted in-house and creative rotations of festive drink specials every season!
You'll find freshly baked pastries from Fox & Bull Baking Co. and a variety of grab-and-go breakfast and lunch items as well.
Prefix also offers chai lattes, matcha lattes, and an assortment of teas. Our baristas are friendly and welcoming and our atmosphere is comfortable and calming.

“I absolutely love this shop. It is a community fixture and I often find myself here daily! Amazing service and lots of delicious coffee. I love to get an iced vanilla latte (with their house made vanilla syrup!) during the summer months and a traditional warm latte or their pumpkin caramel spice latte during the autumn/winter months. My fianceé got a hot chocolate and I got a orange cranberry scone, London fog and the biscuit breakfast sandwich! All were extremely delicious and we will definitely be coming back as regulars 😁”
